Just wanted to say...
I think I am going to the track this month for the first time!
Its a "track school"... Not a Keith Code type school but more of a mix between a regular C/B group and a school. There are optional 40 minutes classes before every ride, instructors on the track, can even get one on one and I heard you can get a 2up ride which is supposed to be a scary experience  .
Bike prep, just need to disable the rear brake light, easy to do?
Remove left hand mirror (only one bar end), change oil to synthetic (rebroke engine in for 1000 miles with dino after rebuild) and put some new rubber on, wore through the sport touring tires. Given the track day I am going to get some BT-002RS's, its a street tire with a race tire design, getting it for a good price to .
Cant wait!
Oh and for $40's they have a suspension guy on the track that will work with you all day, had my bike tuned once but I think it could still use some work. |
