what gives? i had to remove my drummer for repairs and now i only have about 1/16 of the header/collector into the top of my can. is my header warped? never been wrecked, was knocked onto the left side the other day, but i don't see how that could cause this. any ideas. i'll try to post some pics later. |

random- yeah, the can is all the way tight up against both mounting braces. just to test that i put my floor jack under it and gave it a little nudge. nothing left. since i don't hear well enough, i can't determine if its got a leak or not. i thought the can might be warped, but sits flush against both front and rear brackets. just seemed to have more collector in it when i took it off. |

I can't tell for sure what you are saying. Sounds like you may need to loosen up the entire exhaust tract and get it fit together correctly. |

blake- yeah, i've taken it off 4 times. it sits tight up against the front and rear mounting points. it won't go forward or up any further. definatly has an exhaust leak. i'm going to try to put a bit of rotation to the can to see if it'll move up on the collector more. i had to take the can off to repair it.(had a hole in the side) and there seemed to be about 3/16 of the collector into the top of the can. |
