Also bads I wasent trying to call you out or nothing I was just merely stating a observation.I didnt mean any ill towards you either its just to bad my all stock bike and your total show bike is all fluff and cheap upgrade filter's...... This is also the reason people walk past others with out helping them when they are knocked down.Dont worry I wont stop helping others even when I get my hand bitten. |

Hey Jakie I know Dan at NHRS and for years. My Profile doesn't show my bike so don't comment unless you know. Lets see the numbers that Dan did with your motor. It better be pushing a 150 HP or better which I doubt. Sorry my friend but a built Buell isn't gonna run a busa or 1098 for that matter. BTW when you cut on my bike or Biggies you cut on just about everyones bike on this forum.... good going . Also if I wanted my engine built I would. Fact is your engine will need a rebuild maybe more then once in one season while I'll and others on this board will ride and enjoy there bikes as intended. Say what you will.LOL (Message edited by bads1 on August 28, 2009) (Message edited by bads1 on August 28, 2009) |

Bad ask dan himself if you like the differance between my motor from dan and his others is that I went with the 630/585 split timing cams that are more race oriented than his usual customes with 88 kit also the Buell factor adjustable ecm along with the xbrr fuel injectors and 450cfm fuel regulator . I did COPY his most powerful build on his site (Which put out 160hp and 130 torque with 50mm carb look on his site) I have to do full break in on motor to safly dyno dan said go at least 500 miles and I have 200 on motor now . ( I really shouldnt have been running anyone even for short distance ) Anyhow I went above and beond his best customer build so Im figuring at least 160 hp.... As far as your bike or biggies .. If you had Buells that had extensive work doe to them you wouldnt be critisizing anyone elses build . ... Nay sayers are invariably rednecks that put on ..look fast.. parts and never actually do any motor work . And yes the Motor wont last that long , I am intending on on just building anouther motor next year. It is for racing as I keep stating . Why Im A bit pissed is .. If you have never seen a buell with this many upgrades to motor why try and be a know it all? has anyone on this site or that you know had the XBrr injectors installed OR the factory fuel regulator OR racing 48 mm headers ect ect ... My XB12R is as close to a factory racer as you can get period AND has 1420 cc vs 1340? With bigger cams also !!... So why would you think it couldnt beat a busa (stock ) Unless my new zx10 , my buddies gsxr1000and CRB1000rr are somehow slower than normal? coming off the corners for about 1/4 mile... Can an XBRR beat a busa off the corners? well my bikes a XBRR equal .. the xb12R biggest problem( with big bore kits) is the fuel injectors . You can lenthen the duration of the stock injectors but it doesnt work well enough ... the XBRR injectors do WONDERS along with the 450cfm fuel regulators .... if you want the parts yourself .. the guy I got them from got these from Hillbilly motors in germany .. It worked so well im getting a second regulator and anouther set of injectors in 2 weeks injectors where 100 and regulator 300 |

QUESTIONS>> Pics I will load up tomarrow , YES im educated ( temple univercity and a stint at Whartons , company paid for that one ) I used 11:1 compresion for this motor to see how hard it was to keep motor cool the XBRR had 12-5:1 and had heat problems even wih the 19 row oil cooler . BIGGIE The **# is a fine bike , Get the bolt on cam , its worth it for 250$... Hell I bought 5 new bikes this Year ,, too many wil sell this 883 has 1700 miles on it with cam baloney cut rush mufflers progresive 412 rear suspenSion( black) and sceaming eagle sidewinder intake ( black) also 10 row Jeggs oil cooler ( black ) nice set up looks great. add ons look factory , not over the top.. ill take pic of the 883 also . Later back is killing me . Jake |

Jake, I like the work you've done, but when it comes to the pissing match between all of yall, how bouts' leaving me and a number of others out of your conversations......you aint making too many friends that way...... quote from above.... "Nay sayers are invariably rednecks that put on ..look fast.. parts and never actually do any motor work ." leave us rednecks out of this pissing match and I'll be happy. Many of us "rednecks" are happy with the machine that Buell gave us to play with..a majority of us don't live to beat everybody out there, we have families and a limited budget. I hope your team does well with the modifications you have provided. Good luck on the track! Deadduck aka Redneck |

Good thing we are talking about motorcycles. Wouldn't want the discussion to become nasty like with political discussions. |

oddly Ft, I don't recall too many political pissing matches going this far south (no pun intended) we typically leave the name calling out of conversation and state fact, or give opinion based on our observations of things going on around us. Of course, I stay away from the backfire boards because I know that is what a thread has turned into. What ever happened to good ol' fashion debate, (back on subject) Jake stated that this build is for a race bike. the results will be shown on the Dyno after the break-in period, I'm good with that. The best documented results will come from race day, I'm even better with that. There is a lot of valuable knowledge on these pages of Badweb, I just don't find it appropriate to have all the name calling and such to clutter it up. off the box now, continue...... |

There are certain folks who lack the ability or manners to have a discussion. They know who they are. They usually fancy themselves as the victims. Tiring. |

In a straight line, that all may be necessary. To beat those bikes in the twisties you dont need to touch the motor! Just change out that nut inbetween the handle bars and the seat. |

Sorry about getting mad at you biggie i was getting mixed up . I thought you saying I was lying about being able to come out of corners faster than zx10 -14 ect .. Dont get me wrong , once they get thier legs under them the japanese super bikes start to catch and will pass me after say 1/2mile or so . I might have 120lbs of torque to the 70 lbs of a jap superbike , but eventually the 15hp advantage they have wins out on top . ... I hate ANYONE downing anyones effort to try a mod thats outside the box . ... I am Dying to see the N02 set up done here . Jake |

The price you pay for performance & practicality is what is in a Racer/HotRodders blood . You have the desire to put up with it or you do not . Thats what makes it exciting . When you have a motor thats so radical it barely idles , but when you apply the power and it feels like the Hand of God is pushing you , then you know its all worth it . |

Deadduck thank you for the encouragement . It wont be much of a TEAM . . Just 2 mechanics a rider and myself . HOPEFULLY Cory Texter is riding but being hes a top dirt tracker in AMA his sponsors might worry about him getting hurt . Im sure I can find a young willing dirt tracker to take a free ride lol. He would certainly be better rider than me lol. jake |

Thanks metal I was thinking either old tech racing or hot rod racing ...We nicknamed the bike N.A.S.B.I.K.E because it has the high tech chassis and old fashioned pushrod engine thats worked like a drag old drag racer or NASCAR. Jake (Message edited by jake318 on September 02, 2009) |
