Yeah - service manual has PAGES AND PAGES of fastener torques. Good investment! Cheaper than paying a machine shop to repair/remove/replace boogered hardware. | ||

Except the oil drain plugs value right? I was lucky to toque it to stated value without hoggin out hole then I read all info on it here oops why dont they fix it in book? | ||

I think a nicer way to put it would be to say: I would recommend getting a service manual as there are too many to list here. If you are looking for one or two in particular someone may be able to help you. | ||

I have the service manual and I know that all the value are written in the job specification but my question was more like: there is a document with a list of all the torque values without having to go thru the service manual? | ||

Haha yeah, didn't mean to be a punk. 2 thoughts about the service manual: 1) I have purchased 1 for every Buell I have owned, they are cheap for what you get. I forked over the $$ to get the info in them and, like you said, I don't mind sharing a piece or 2 from it. But if someone else wants a ton of info- get yer own! This falls into the same category as tools when I worked in a shop: If I had to borrow a tool more than once, I bought my own. 2) Buell does us all a HUGE favor by publishing these manuals with the top quality info for such a price. When someone else chooses to not buy one (or to only use a pirated version of one), it strengthens the chance that Buell will one day choose to not produce the manuals for lack of sales/income from them. So...I am strongly encouraging everyone to buy one, as they are indispensable tools for me, and I am confident that they will be for you too!  All of that said, what year is your 12R? That would matter for what values you are given. Also, are you looking for all of them, or just particular ones? | ||

I have not seen this. My manual has a table of all of the chassis values under the chassis section. Check "torque values" under the index, perhaps yours has that too? It's not EVERY value, but all of the chassis ones in 1 place might be a help? | ||

There are tables of standard torque values used in different metals with different thread pitches. I've got a few links - I'll see if I can get them and post them up. they're very valuable and applicable to virtually ANY fastener torque. | ||

I think the axle torque specs may be a little excessive [ 40lbs front , 50 lbs rear ] possibly deforming the light weight aluminum spacer and causing bearing issues . | ||
