So, I was wondering if anybody has painted their cheesegrater a different color, without messing with the logo that is on it. I was thinking of painting mine red instead of the blue it currently is. |

Randomchaos- you can try to get the emblem off but if you do mess it up you can order them thru the dealer. They're only a couple bucks. You could also take your time and tape off the emblem. Good luck. |

I'm doing the same thing. If you hit the emblem with a heat gun (read blow dryer) it comes off pretty easy. And I think they're about $5 if you mess it up any way. |

Awesome, thanks for the info guys! I wasn't sure how hard it would be to remove that emblem. Is the cheesegrater part itself removable from its housing? |

Posted this on the other thread but something else to consider is that red pigment doesn't cover as well as black. You might have to do an intermediate step of a light coating of black (to cover the blue) - followed by the red top coat. Yes - replace the sticker... no good way to mask it. |

Yea, after looking at the sticker more yesterday, I'm probably just going to tear it off and buy a new one. Planning on stripping the blue paint off before I paint it red. |

Hey Geoff, If you want a strainer to experiment with, I have an extra silver one from a XB12S. You can have it for just the cost of shipping. I think it'll fit in a USPS flat-rate box but I won't know until later tonight. PM me if you want it. -Scott |
