ive owned my 99' m2 for about 2 years and im ready to up grade. im really interested in getting an xb12s. i do alot of long tours and i need something reliable, comfortable, and i need to be able to buy alot of touring gear for it. so if you guys have any tips or know of anyone selling one please email asap. thanks, Andrew |

You might want to consider the XB12Ss. It has a longer wheelbase, more relaxed steering angle, larger seat. Also the XB12XT, the touring version of the Ulysses. Has built in luggage.

The XT is the closest thing Buell makes to the older M2s. Very similar ergos and powerband...hell, the seats even look similar even if the rest of the bike doesn't. That's one of the things I like about my Uly, it reminds me of my old friend's gray/orange M2 (still the best color combo Buell EVER made, IMO). |

haha really well im kinda trying to move away from the m2's powerband and really see what the newer buell's got. but ill look into the Ss. that sounds more up my ally. Thanks, Andrew |

Well, an XB12 isn't going to be very different in the powerband department. It's FI, but in terms of torque curves and the like it's very similar to the 1203 tubers. If you want something really 'different', then you'd need to look at one of the 1125s, but neither of them are close to an M2 in terms of ergos/touring. |
