Aerodynamics (the theory at least) is a funny thing that does some weird stuff you wouldn't think it would....at least in Aviation. I agree with the left and right having different forces working on them. |

We rotor heads have a similar issue that is basically the same thing but called dissymmetry of lift which then causes blowback. Aaahhhh, my brains are hurting now. |

I can deal with retreating blade stall but when the discussion gets into compressibility then I'm out! Some folks want to discuss this to no end during a checkride. I do not foresee me getting into a situation where compressibility is an issue. Ah, my brains are hurting again.....ow. |

I had to fight off a compressibility attack right in the middle of my presentation to the DOD folks today. |
