Well the vinyl on my second Street fighter seat is coming unglued from the foam.. My dealership replaced the first one, I'm sure they will replace this one as well. Is this a known problem for these seats like the V in the select? Great seat BTW I hope to finally break one in one day.. |

I know its a common issue on the Lightning Long/STT Touring seat, never heard of it on any other seat. |

Gaza.... The exact same thing in the same location is happening with my Street-fighter seat... Picked my replacement up Saturday out of the box was fine... The street fighter is right off back-order After sitting overnight on the bike it came up in just a spot.. After 300 miles it looks like shit again.. I just hate wasting my and the dealers time.. I'm tempted to just have my old select reshaped/recovered by Sargent |

I have this seat and it is starting to develop this problem. I might have to talk to the dealer to see if they can hook me up. |

Messed my 2007 xb12ss set up in a slight misshap. The second replacement touring seat started to come undone after about a week of riding. The guy down the street from me is a apolstry man. he took it and reglued and stretched it in about 30 minutes, he even added padding. He said they used a real sucky glue and there staples were cheap and allowed the vynil to stretch back. So I would take it to an apolstry place and have it redone. Redfive |

I hear Ya Red... This a Manufacturing issue though if no one brings it up people will continue receive bad product.. I'm called my dealer hopefully the third time is a charm.. If not I'll ask for my money back and have my other seat recovered.. I really hate to take business away from my dealer since they treat buellers so well.. |

My select seat has the same problem but I just don't care. When the bike is out, the only thing somebody looking at my seat is going to see is my butt and I can't feel a difference. It's been that way for two years and it hasn't gotten any worse. |
