I am doing bearing and seal replacement on the bottom end of an 06 XB12R. The question I have is if there any aftermarket bearings that would be better suited for the crank than the stock. While I have the motor this far down, the last thing I want is to put the same parts (meaing stock) back in if there are better options out there. The bike is stock and not performance modded in any way. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Buellers! |

I'm also interested in this being that I have my motor completely torn down. |

Look into what Slaughter says in this thread. The stock 2008 and up 12's have a bigger crank, bearings, and rods. Which means you would also need to machine the cases, so it could get pricey. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/484528.html?1249325796 (Message edited by boltrider on August 03, 2009) |
