Hey guys,
I was just curious, what do you figure my bike is worth? I've got a 2007 XB9SX with 600 miles on it. Its in great shape with some extras: Drummer muffler, cheese grater chop, bar end mirrors and a Buell seat bag. I would also like to sell it with my Buell leather riding jacket and an Icon moto Rubitone helmet. What do you guys estimate it to be worth?

Hi Matt,

Since you only have 600 miles (why only 600 miles?) on it and it is in great shape, I would go with what it is worth in the Blue Book value under excellent condition and I would add on the cost of the Drummer (depending on how good a condition it is since I do not know if you bought it new or used), same thing with the leathers and helmet. Might want to go down a little on the helmet since there are mega deals right now out there for good quality helmets for as low as $59.00. That is what I would do. Would not hurt to post a picture of the bike too from different angles.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I checked KBB and they say my bike is only worth $4,400. That seems really low to me.

That seems extremely low for an 07.

In CA, my 05 12Scg is listed in KBB for a tad over $6500.

For some weird reason the cg seems to worth a few hundred more than a standard. I would have thought it'd be the other way around.

an 05 CityX is listed just over $5500. in CA. $6335. for an 07 CityX.

Same here in MI metal storm. same bike same year.

4400 is real low. Maybe input it in again and see what comes up? Try NADA values as well. They are usually a little more accurate the KBB.

NADA values are what an person can expect to pay for a vehicle and KBB are trade in value. I will confirm this tomorrow.

KBB offers trade in values and private sale values.

4,400 for an 07 9SX definitely sounds like trade in value, not private sale value.
