I am leaving for Sturgis Wednesday (28th) morning from minneapolis. We have multiple enclosed trailers and 3 AA rv's. (the spoils of having connections). We will arrive Wednesday afternoon and have people returning to the metro area as early as the following Wednesday (5th). We will be staying at glencoe. If anyone in the area or along the way wants to join, just post or pm me. I am on here at least 5 times a day, so I'll catch a post fast. We have plenty of room for another 5 riders comfortably. And currently have 20-25 going. The more the merrier!!! Does badweb have a booth or a tent set up? If not, they should. Is there anything that anyone knows of that's a "can't miss" thing? I google Buell Sturgis and not much pops up. Anyone else gonna be there? Thus will be my first time out, so I'm in for a wild ride. I'd like to be as prepared as possible. Thanks and hope to see ya here, there or along the way!!! |

I hafta work both weekends and all week. When it's up around a hundred out and the breeze is even hotter, go hit Spearfish Canyon and dip your head in Bridal Veil Falls for me. You'll go from overheated to hypothermic faster than yo can say Mother-Franken! Also, be sure to hit Skyline drive in Rapid City--I swear they built the road with Buells in mind. The demo fleet, if they have it there, always runs up there then back thru town. Gotta do it. Good luck, and don't hit any goats out in Custer. (Message edited by methed on July 27, 2009) |

If you're staying at Glencoe you'll see it all! Hit the showers early and get out and ride, there's good roads in the Black Hills |
