That cutout for the front pulley on the video bike is interesting. Of course, then you have to keep it from rusting again. |

I wanna do something with the pulley cover on mine too. I didn't wanna make a big hole for fear of a foot rubbing on the pulley. |

Rizoma made those for about a year. They don't offer them any longer, I think. |

Bishop, did you black out your frame yourself or did you have someone do it for you ? I've been wanting to but not eager to take my bike apart. If not you where'd ya have it done? |

I stripped it down and did it myself. Spent most of the winter doing it. 1 week after I got it done some lady backed into it, boy was I happy. Really you can tear it down and put it back together in a week easily. Jimmy |

If you're riding with boots, you can probably never touch the pulley. I'd say take the cover off and try it for an afternoon. Doubt you'd hit it with your toe. I have been "meaning to" put my guard back on after my chain conversion - and just haven't gotten back to it. I've gotta do something because of the chain wax that gets thrown off the chain - but my boot toe has never touched. (and yeah, you're gonna have a rusty cog there on display for all the world to see) |
