I just got my ECM SPY cable in the mail. I hooked it up and checked everything out. I accidentally clicked yes when I hit TPS reset. (I was just checking everything out) Now my TPS is at ZERO. How do I make the TPS set at a high number/percentage with out knowing what is true zero? My bike starts to cut out when I hold in the clutch when I'm riding. I think the TPS reset is the reason? |

Yep that will do it. Back out the screw all the way, and reset it again. Screw in till you are at 5.4, then go for a ride. After its warmed up do it again. |

I back out the screw all the way and move it back to 5.4% when it is cold. Then go for a ride to warm it up (10-15minutes) Then back out the screw all the way and move it back to 5.4%. Thank you Froggy |

Another bike saved by froggy- what do you do, man? You should be working for Buell. Oh wait, should this go in the "ode to froggy" thread? My nose is to brown after the first comment that I can't see past it! Hahaha let us know if that did the trick, sweatfish- |

Sweetfish, search and destroy all ECMspy threads, as there is much to learn. |

dont forget once you have the bike warm .(after a little ride) pull out the allen tool and adjust out the idle to as preferred on the bike 1000 rpm. i know the book says 1050 but 1000 is better. mike |

Jakecheez I worked. I just need to fine tune it now. Nextcorner I have read most of the ECMspy thread. Easily 100+ pages Mike Thank you that did make it quite a bit smoother. |
