Can XB12X Luggage Top Case and Side Case Kit fit XB12S? Does anyone know if the the hardware and the trunk kit for the Ulysses can be mounted on a 2004 XB12S? If someone has as photo of this that would be great | ||

Can't say for sure but I would guess not. The rack is designed to bolt up to the X's tail section. I would imagine the length would be wrong and holes would not line up etc.. There is a thread lost somewhere in the archives about a company that sells racks and side cases for an XBS. There might be a top case as well but not really sure. I've seen pics of the S side bags mounted. There's not a whole lot of passenger leg room (if any) but it looked really nice. Edit: I can't remember the make of the side cases. The Buell cases are Hepco and Becker. If you get Hepco and Becker mounts you can use the Uly cases, or any other H&B cases. I don't know about the top case though. You lose the passenger pegs on the S with the H&B mounts. I looked into it but $$$$ | ||

I would rather have just the trunk bag. I wonder if one of the Givi trunks could be mounted to the "S"??? | ||

The top case no not really, I looked long and hard and it was going to be a lot of work. The cases will hit with a Hepco & Becker bracket BUT the Buell bags log on the bike with the latch to the front and the H/Bs do so from the rear. You do lose the rear pegs, mounts and all to mount them. Eurotech is the importer BUT they are wholesale only so you'll need to find a dealer.  |
