I have an 09 firebolt xb12r I am going to put a pipe on it. what do you recommend I am not concerned with extra noise. would really like louder and more power. After installing pipe what do i need to do to give it more fuel I have looked and didn't find a race ecm and have read that the ecmspy doesn't work on 08-09. Thanks for your help |

jim the loud thing is not such a big deal.i'd rather have the best power and the hell with noise.open will make mess torque, and muffler will make more.shop around and see what suits ya. P |

I also have an 09 XB12R and put an aftermarket pipe on it a couple months ago. The computer will sense the change of the aftermarket pipe and will adjust itself. Once you put the pipe on there, run the bike at about 3000-4000 rpm for about 10-15 mins and the bike will recal itself. They do not and will not ever make a race ecm for the 09s so dont bother looking. |

^^^ What he said! I'm loving my special ops pipe on my "09r. Just think I'm getting a little heavy decel pop. But I think that is the small crack in the front header pipe that is causing me to not get proper flow in the header. |
