IHMO, IMHO, is "In My Humble Opinion"... Meant to say that I believe it for me, but don't care enough about it to try and make you believe it for you.
The header may be stock, but the header doesn't mount to the bike. Show that picture of your front exhaust mount again... compare that (admittedly beefy) single tab, and think about how it can resonate from right to left, and compare it to the Buell mount, which uses a very elegant clamp to basically strap the exhaust to the bottom of the motor. Its not moving up, down, right or left.
I sheared an exhaust stud on my 9sx. As soon as I saw that sheared stud, after the moment of quiet muttering, I looked down at that factory front mount. Sure enough, the bolt that holds the whole assembly to the motor was gone... just like I knew it would be.
I was the last one to have it apart, so I just HTFU, and fixed it. |

When my bike was broke (electrical) I wanted to roll it off a cliff. It is sooooooooo rediculously frustrating when things don't go right.
Enjoy her while she runs, but you can't kick her when she's down. By the time she's fixed and you have it running, you'll probobly love her again. |
