Sunset Orange 2006 XB12Ss with the rear seat frame painted with Rustoleum Ford Engine Red. http://doitbest.com/Spray+Paint-Valspar-model-206- doitbest-sku-780030.dib It looks a shade more red than the Sunset Orange when laid next to a plastic but in place with the distance between the pieces it matches pretty good to my eye. what say you BadWeb?

It may be a little off. I don't think anyone would ever notice if you didn't ask them specifically. Looks really good either way! |

Close enough! Looks really good. I have thought about doing the same thing when I get a lightning. I think the back end of the bike is a little bland and that color really gives it more of a symmetrical flow. Good Job!!!! |

The helmets way off. Doesn't match anything on the bike. |

Very nice, a seat cowl painted the same red would finish it off nice. |

Looks nice! Not a fan of the fender though... I think leaving that black or maybe a red stripe would've looked better. Maybe if the wheel was only red rim tape but with the solid red wheel its just to much red up there. |

You should have somebody photo shop it with a black fender and red air intake... |

That's how I run my '06 Ss. I kept the sunset orange rims and air box cover, but black fender, black windscreen, no rear hugger, and no lower chin fairing (no sense in hiding that work of art Drummer ss can). I love the look of breaking the orange (red) up with the black. Looks really good in person. |
