**The picture isnt showing up on my computer, if you cant see it, here is a direct link http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v716/Jornum1/headlight2.jpg** I am in the process of converting my Lightning front to a firebolt. I started out running some custom driving lights, and am not happy with them. So I found a good deal on the stock projectors to install. My question is, is there something that goes in between the fairing stay, and the top mounting area of the headlights? (see pic below) It doesnt seem to want to fit flush, and I dont want to force it. I am thinking something else was mounted in between there that spaced it out? I have never seen how they mount on another firebolt. (Message edited by jornum1 on June 24, 2009) |

ECM will be there on a Firebolt. Just use some spacers. (Message edited by firebolt32 on June 24, 2009) |

Ha, good call, ok guess I will just have to make a spacer for it. I forgot all that stuff has to go up there on the firebolts. At least I will have lots of room for the HID balasts! Thanks! |

what Firebolt32 said.... It would be a good spot for a HID box later. Do you still have your XBS upper triple from when you did your fairing swap.I would be interested if you want to sell it.PM if so. |

Awesome, thanks everyone, I will have to make a plate for the balasts when I get them in. Hopefully this week. All the electrical components are in the tail on the lightnings. The only thing I have up front is the horn and the flasher relay. Lots of room! Fast... I didnt use the XBR triple, I stayed with my S since I have crossroads bars. |
