Had a little track incident, and now need to replace bars. I was wondering if the clubman bars from the 1125cr would work on xb12S. Anyone given it a try yet? |

Won't fit, the 1125CR bars are 1" at the clamp and taper off to 7/8" at the grips. There are aftermarket options for clubmans that will bolt on. |

You know Precision Engineering might be able to make up a set of raisers to make them work. |

You can swap to a firebolt setup with a little modifying. I did and I love it. Adds way more control on the corners.

The easiest way is to go with the American Sportbike XB-S Crossroads Clip-on Style Handlebars, I have the 7o ones and love 'em. No cutting, no chopping, no worries, just mount 'em and go! (Message edited by glitch on June 23, 2009) |

Hey Nilla I just rode my bike to Norfolk last weekend to visit a friend. I could have showed the setup, not to many people have done this mod. Most crap out and go with the ugly clip-ons. |

I like the way they look, more so after I painted them black. We've done the R conversion a couple of times now. Just too much work, and troubles to do it again. I hate having to carve up the gauge module, and the wiring is awful tight behind the flyscreen. Just too much trouble IMHO. I ain't afraid of ugly, all you have to do is look at my bike and you'd see that's true! i mean, like, everybody's done the tail swap.... Now that was easy peasy! Great mod! |

The R conversion is nice but way too time consuming to get perfect. |

Yea, I enjoyed that project and making Stealth happy with the set up but it was a time sucker for sure. I just came upon a set of crossroads I think I'm going to powder coat and put on to see how they do. I know I've sat on yours with your Crossroads but it's been so long I don't remember how they feel. Hope to see you in October!! |

Circusninja- I have not done one myself but if you just type tail swap in the search function you should get enough info to keep you busy for a few hours at least. |
