Am I the only 2nd amendment nut here? I live outside of city limits, and can defend my property for when the zombies arise. Who else has an armory? Not asking for specifics, just let me know if you think guns are pretty.

i live in the a part of town where i think it might actually be needed. but i have 2 kids, who like to get into things. doesn't make much sense for me to have a gun all locked up. "wait, Mr. robber, sir. i gotta unlock this gun and then you may proceed." but yes, i do think guns are 'pretty' as you so eloquently put it. |

By the time the zombies get to me, I'll be buried under three feet of hot brass. |

Glen you better steer clear when that pitbull has to crap. Guns are good, very good. In fact I have wished many times I had a mini-gun mounted on my bike or Jeep. Southern Cali drivers are the worst! |

I am a big fan of carbines and pistols that share magazines. That's all I'll say. A shotgun or two is nice, as is a lever action cowboy shooter. I am ready for the zombies. |

Zombies don't have a chance! My Remington 7400 .30-06 + Bushnell scope will do for the long range stuff. Marlin .22 is useless unless I fall under attack from zombie squirrels. Rock Island Armory 1911 .45 and two pit bulls should be ample once they break through the windows.

For any of you who are into rare or historic weapons.. this might interest you. A friend of mine picked this up a few months ago. I don't know much about them but he said it's a K43 - a sniper rifle used by the Nazis during WWII. All of the "engraving" on the stock was that way when the gun got back from Germany, and has been left alone for it's historic value.

Glad to see all the Buelligans exercising their rights. M-4 Remington 870 Express Magnum USP .45 Horton Supermag Marlin .22 Loads of hand to hand weapons... it's good to be a black belt. Oh, the .22 is great for medium range zombie head shots. Ammo is cheap, easy to transport, and highly available. |

Heck yes.. Definitely 2A here man.. I tend to do mostly USPSA/IPSC pistol shooting, but have some family and ton of friends into high power rifle stuff. I typically go through about a 1000 rounds a month with practice and matches.. Gotta be ready for zombie day! |

Armory? More than I can afford to keep ammo for. How 'bout you? See, my favorite is the Springfield XD in .40 S&W; carry is either that, or a Smith Model 60 in .357 and with a 3" barrel. Took them to the range yesterday and 200 rounds later, I found I'd just dropped $80 - on Serbian .38 Special and .40 reloads! I don't dare throw any of the sintered bullets or hollowpoints or even factory target loads downrange. Guess it's time I start to shoot the .22s on most trips. Finally signed for NRA's quarterly Life member plan this spring; planning to attend the Second Amendment March next April in DC. No Zombies present, hopefully. |
