What is the correct rpm idle speed? I have an xb9. It idles at around 700,800, Just yesterday it started stalling out a couple of times after running 20 seconds. The same thing happened today when I got out of work, started and ran for about 20 sec. then stalled.

1050, any higher and you may have issues with the idle "floating" when you pull the clutch in. Any lower and you may run into issues with stalling and not giving enough power for accessories. I run at 750, but I love the sound.

I set my cold idle @ the minimum, that makes my tail light not flicker, which means it does provide enough voltage to charge the battery. It does happen to be around 1000RPM.

Hammer71 is correct. This is the proper setting after a TPS reset and is where the bike will perform the best.
