i am looking for someone that can remap my ecm on my 08 lightning. i know i could just get the cable from ecmspy , but i dont have time. just would like to send it to someone and have them send it back. the bike now has a open airbox k&n filter and a jardine pipe. the bike is real doggy under 3000 rpm but pulls real hard after that. anyway let me know what you guys have? thanks shawn | ||

ECMspy been shut down dude. Check with Xopti, I think he said he had some cables, and still may be doing some tuning. Check one of the other top threads, ECMspy is a main part of the thread title. | ||

Ahhh, not to rain further on your parade, but AFAIK, the only maps available for the '08s are ones from the factory. I don't believe ECMspy works with '08-'09 models. | ||

If you have an '08 that was built very early on you might be able to use ECMspy. My '08 was built in July 2007 and I was able to use ECMspy to install an Xopti map. Or you can use the spreadsheet method if your bike's ECM won't work with ECMspy. | ||

No race ecm for 08. If u have a race license, u can buy the tuning software from Buell ($700+). Early 08s can be tuned with ecmspy... not sure on the later ones (have herad yes and no)... | ||

Not trying to add confusion, but my 08' has the latest flash, and ecmspy seems to work fine with it.I'm working with xopti now. we'll see how it goes.. not sure my build date pete | ||
