Since it's Friday and I'm in a good mood sitting in my office figured I'd share this. This past weekend a couple of buddies and myself decided to go do the loop a few times. 2 Buells and an R6. The other Buell was Jeffroj, he posts and reads here as well. So anyways we were sitting in McDonalds grabbing some grub before we tore it up. We were just finishing up and this family walks in with their kids, the little boy is all excited. He was talking to his dad, "I wanna be the orange one!", then he told his dad he could be the red one. I have a red xb9 and Jeff has the orange xb12. The poor R6 didn't get any love. Was kind of funny, a good way to start the day. Also that McDonalds didn't take credit/debt cards, wtf is up with that?! You know you're in the country when that happens, those mountain people are way behind the times! |

Always cool to be noticed. I stopped at a McD's in Brossard one morning while up there for work... no one spoke English (moi Quebecoise est pa mal), no pictures on the menu and they didn't take credit cards of any kind. |

Wtf? Places exist that don't take credit cards? I thought they only existed in Georgia. I don't carry cash anymore, 99% of my purchases are on the card. |

I love it! Not old enough to know its polite to show a LITTLE love to the other bikes . Reminds me of the other day me and my dad were walking up to our bikes in SLO. This kid a few years older then me walks by holding a skate board. "Dude!!! That is the sickest Buell I have ever seen" (Shakes my hand) "Thats rad! I used to have an old Monster but that thing is hot! Look at that tank!" This goes on for more then a minute while my dad stands there next to his tricked out Harley Road King. Then he looks over at my dad and almost in a disgusted way goes "Oh! That bikes nice to! But this Buell is more my style" ahahahaha. It was classic as my dad and I always have an on-going "battle" if you will over who's bike gets more attention. My first bike was an old 50cc two stroke that was in excellent condition, that always stole the attention as well and the Buell usually does to. Also the next night we were going to a steak place that was supposed to have 100 harleys there and he was all, Im going to make a come back here! His bike got some love but sure enough, as soon as we parked I had a crowd of hog riders (literally!) around my bike looking, talking, etc... and I just gave my dad a little wink and he shook his head. Gotta love the Buell! |

haha Jraice, that is priceless. I do agree it seems everytime we go somewhere we get some random Buell loving. We had some aussie dude give us a rose one night at some bike night. Jeffro calls us the attention whores, I think he is right lol. Froggy, I use my card for everything too, I was actually surprised I had cash that day. It was like the waffle house of McDonalds in there, should have seen the people working there haha. |
