I just posted this over in the KV and thought I'd post it here as well. I've been having vibration issues and discovered this problem in trying to fix it. Please check this out and let me know if anyone else has had this problem or knows what it means. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/469003.html?1245206522 -Patrick |

I haven't heard anything yet but I spent some time this evening looking at everything. Seems like the rear isolator is giving the engine some slack and the belt tension is pulling the whole engine slightly rearward, but it isn't obvious in the isolator. Anyone else seen this before? I'd like to know for sure this is the problem before I buy parts and drop the engine to replace them. -Patrick |

How does the front isolator look? The front isolator is usually the one that goes bad, and when they start to go, the vibration really picks up. Check bolts that attach the tie bars as well. |

I've already replaced the front isolator thinking it was the problem. It's practically brand new with only a few hundred miles on it. The bolts for the tie bars all appear to be snug but I will double check them over the weekend to be sure. -Patrick |
