Anyone have a suggestion for a more comfortable seat for a TT than the stock? A fellow coach just got a TT, he's a good guy and I wanna help because he loves the bike, but wants a more comfy seat. Did a search here, no luck. Help. B. |

There are 4 Buell seats that will fit the bike, the SS seat, the STT seat, the Touring seat, and the Sport seat. I had the first 3 seats, and fell in love with the touring seat. Never got a chance to try the sport seat. |

I have the Touring on my STT. I love it as it offers a lot more support than the stock one did. It's harder then the soft one the bike came with and that's a good thing as soft saddles are no good in the long run...on the behind! |

I do not know if the seat from my 2007 XB9SX would fit this same bike but the stock seat on my XB9SX (it has to be year 2007) cause in 2008 it changed, to me is the most comfortable seat of all! I ride 140 miles straight without any problems! |

No, the S, SL, SX, SCG all use a different set of seat rails than the SS/STT, so the seats will not interchange. |

I have an Ss, I assume thats the same rail type as the TT? Same seat or no? I love mine around town, very soft and comfortable but on a longer ride it kills. I have noticed longer twisty rides are usually okay but straight line and it's painful! Have gotten used to dealer with everything else and think this is the key factor in making me more comfortable with long distance riding. I did LA-home (shy of 400 miles) last month with about 2 stops per tank of gas and man did my rear hurt after 25 minutes or so back on after each break! I was standing up every 15 minutes via the clock in order to try and prevent any pressure points, didnt help much . My thing is that I dont want to give up to much height and cramp up my legs... |

I got the dual seat kit with the bike when I bought my TT but I've no idea which dual seat it is. It's a WHOLE lot more comfortable than the single seat on a run though. |

The SS seat is the 2 up seat. |
