...What a difference! Since day one I have had trouble with rough idle and "lean pop" under the airbox cover. Last week I dropped off my bike at Gateway HD in St. Louis for my 1K mile service and for the above mentioned issues. I also included 4 quarts of Amsoil 20-50 Motorcycle oil for them to use on my bike. I picked it up this afternoon and OMG what a difference. I immediately noticed that the bike idled smoother and quieter. the RPM needle would not move from the 1K mark. Turns out that the bike had a bad temp control sensor and fouled plugs which were throwing things off. They replaced the temperature sensor, plugs and reset my TPS. What a difference! The transmission is so smooth now. No more loud "clunk" when you put it in gear and it shifts soo smoothly... I am so happy I could scream Ok, I'm done now. |
