My bike has no name but I catch myself calling her "Bikey" a lot.
I've never done that with any previous bike before.
I catch myself 'talking' to "Bikey" a lot too.
I'm 100% positive that I've never talked to any of my previous bikes.
I barely acknowledge the existence of my Bronco II but I have to say good night to Bikey every night and let her know that I'll see her first thing in the morning.
It must be a Buell thing.. or I've finally gone goofy in the head  |

My bikes are all "bikes" or "Machines".THe personality resides ON the saddle
Sometimes i call one of them the "Doomsday machine" tho |

I fixed the shifter yesterday, and today the chin spoiler fell off. I can't win. The bike is literally falling apart, its to the point I should disassemble it to the last bolt and then start from scratch and dump a tube of red loctite on everything. |

My XB9SX! Her name is "Cheap Bastard" cause it was painted with rattle can flat black, my tank protector is duck tape and I will NEVER invest in bling bling after market parts. My exhaust is rusted stock, my sport saddle bags were given to me free and I don't care much for performance race kits etc...I like the bike as it is, and since I ride alone, I do not have to put up with what others think about her....like my little decal by the tank says...I have a terrible case of I don't give a damn! I've done stupid things to her though that costs me dearly, so I love to keep things cheap.... |
