Anybody know who makes the Buell helmet or do they make their own? I need a new faceshield. |

It depends on which one you have they have been made by different makers. |

Pull the pads out of it and look for a tag. Mine had a tag inside with the HJC logo on it. |

They are made by one of three. HJC, KBC, or AGV depending on what model you have. Look at the tag on the inside and you should be able to find the manufacturer at the bottom of the small print. If you know the name of the model you can post it up here and I'll let you know. |

I've also seen some made out of hollowed out watermelons. When I bought a smoke sheild for mine, they were able to find which Harley helmet was the same, and get me a shield. It was from a stealership though, so I doubt I got a good price, but I didn't know any better at the time. |

Look again at the Buell site where the helmets are. At the end of each product description, they tell you the manufacturer. Two are AGV, two are KBC. If you go to either AGV or KBC website, you should be able to find the model. |

Did anybody hear about this. It's a Buell AGV GP Tech helmet. GP Tech is Valentino Rossi's signature helmet. This thing is pretty sweet although at $500 it's also a little pricey

For polishing purposes you should really start with a much finer grit sandpaper. |

How does that happen without damaging the rest of the helmet? I like to rock a brown paper bag and a pair of old bomber goggles. Cub foods has the best paper bags, good ventilation. AND it doubles for when I pick up a nasty at the bar! |

Fortunately, he protected the rest of the helmet by using his body as a shield. |

If you take out the padding inside you should see the a tag with the manufacturer. Then, look at the numbers somewhere on the side of the faceshield for which model it is. I know he Buell street flame is a KBC Magnum. Not sure of the Model# for the faceshield though. I think it starts with a V. |

Funny thing is, I look back at those pics, and first thing I notice is that the engine is so shiny! I must of used up my crash quota, that wreck was almost 2 years ago, and I haven't crashed since. It is almost a weekly occurrence that something happens and I start sliding and drifting, but I manage to save it without crashing. |
