Author Message   Dsword Posted on Sunday, May 31, 2009 - 12:32 pm:        I have an ECM cable for my 2007 Softail and it has the same Deutsch connector as the one required for the EcmSpy. The connector I have is glued\sealed shut and I may wreck it trying to get it open. I've looked at the pin-out schematic on the FTDI website, but I don't really understand what I'm looking at there! I'm afraid of screwing up my ECM by just plugging it in to try it... Does anyone know if they would both be wired the same?   Union_man Posted on Sunday, May 31, 2009 - 03:14 pm:        Good question. The plug looks the same, but without uncovering the wires that are plugged into the back you can't tell. I hope someone knows the answer; I have a buddy with a '07 Softtail.
