how is the bottom end on that thing? With that short and open ended pipe it seems it would kill the bottom end... bet it sounds cool, but how is the performance? |

its the first buell ive ever ridden, so i have no comparison. it is snappy as hell, though. hard to keep the front tire on the ground. i dont have it registered in MN yet, so it hasnt been on the freeway (just on some side streets) my roomate's 98 s1 is gonna be at my house tomorrow, so ill take that around and see how it compares.....the guy i bought it for, said he custom made the pipes-dyno'd throughout the process. and the purpose of them was for drag....im using it as a daily driver, thats the reason to switch back on the force. |

If it's been dyno tuned with the pipes like that, then it might not like having the Force Exhaust put on it without a re-tune. |

Sheesh - that paint probably cost the previous owner more than a used XB! Punched-out XB9 is an excellent motor. |

how was it bored out to 1200? is that like the revperf 1170cc kit? and if so, does it have the full stage3 treatment? |

Good questions... I assumed it was the 1169cc punch-out. That's a hell-for-stout conversion. If it's a "stroked" 9 - and doesn't have a lower rev limit... could get kinda iffy. |

I know it's got the 1200cc kit, millenieum heads uhhh...... Let me find the work order for everything and I'll let you know for sure. All work done by Nallin racing, in CO. |

Only the bargain priced iron lined Chinese cylinder equipped ones. If you want state of the art nicasil lined all aluminum alloy cylinders, you won't beat Revolution Performance. A lifetime warranty is another bonus. (Message edited by Blake on June 01, 2009) |
