Only $38 from the dealer seems pretty inexpensive.

Is $38 for the airbox cover or the airbox? I believe the cover is more than that as the decals cost about $20 and the cover comes with the decals.

Yup, got to be the outer cover, not the airbox cover right over the snorkel and air filter.

want to make two little scoops, one on each side, and mold them into the *tank* cover. think i'm gonna do the scully type airbox mod and make it look like a skeleton. looking into an air filter and heat mat like the one here:k&n

working on exhaust setups, going to give up soon and by the jardine for the $250

houraaaaay loud and cold air. boooooooo stock
