You SUCK. I am looking at you Gail's in KC, and Riverfront in Lawrence. If a clutch cable is a maintenance item, KEEP THEM IN STOCK! and mods... if you feel the need to delete this, go ahead. I just needed to vent because I think it is BS they are not stocking clutch cables. |

It is surprising how few Buell parts are actually kept in stock at my local H-D dealers. Considering the vast majority of parts on the XB's are interchangeable (for the most part). Still, I can't complain about Buell part pricing after ordering a couple parts for my 2007 Kawasaki KLX250.......crazy expensive...and still have to wait for the parts to be ordered and show up (a week or so). |

H-D dealers that use the Blast for riders edge classes don't even stock basic blast parts. They didn't even stock turn signals, shifters, brake or clutch levers. |

How do you know that another Bueller got there a day before you and bought the cable and a new one is on order? Did you ask when the last 'in stock' date was? BTW a clutch cable isn't a maintenance item, cable lube is... |

Buell of Bloomington, Indiana (BADWEB SPONSOR) has been awesome about having maintenance buell parts in stock. I have yet to have to order anything for my Blast. They have had all of the parts I have needed in stock. Windscreen brackets, screws and well nuts for it. Windshield accessory kit (screws and nuts for it) Shifter assembly brake lever both right side turn signals They've been great. www.indianabuell.com Or give them a call. Ask for Ian, SVT on badweb I believe. |

I've had good luck with mine, Shenandoah HD in Staunton. They keep the important Blast parts and don't gouge. Carb boots are $10 and always available. |

Parts and service are two different entities. I've not had much call for parts. They've either had them in stock or arrived next day or two. The computer parts program seems to be one of the better ones I've seen. So far, Rocky's has been far superior to any other bike store I've dealt with in terms of parts. Sorry about your story. |

Biff, I will go out of my way to buy from a BadWeb sponsor. Actually 110 miles out of my way. Even for items such as a clutch cable. I call them and the next day the part is on my door step. Being a BadWeb sponsor shows a level of dedication to Buells and it also usually means that there are a few Buell riders working there. Two things to look for; 1. BadWeb Sponsor and 2. Buell riders working at the dealership. Frank |
