Anybody out there in the twin city's who has ecmspy'd their bike. Going to be rebuilding my engine soon. I know I should be riding it but my winter project has run over into the summer. |

Terry - I have used ecm spy for just very basic stuff. TPS reset, O2 sensor setting. I haven't done any tuning, but I'd be happy to help out. What are you looking to do with ecm spy? |

Same here. I've really only done some simple tweaks, as my bike has the full race kit. Willing to hep out however you see fit however. I'm just up in Brooklyn Park, a few blocks north of Hwy 610. |

I am tuning with ECMSPY right now and feel like I know the basics. (AFV rest, TPS reset mega logging data, etc.) I have paid Mike (xoptiinside.com) to help me tune my bike. So far I am very impressed with the results and we are continuing to improve the bikes performance. He can tune remotely, and takes over control of my PC while it is hooked to my bike to do it! $99 bucks for the tuning package has bought me some peace of mind, and saved me a lot of time in the process. I have not been to a dyno yet, but I plan to do so when we are closer to a final product. Drivability is much improved and the butt dyno says more HP!!! Also, Mike says that he will help me make two fuel maps for my bike; one for high performance and one for improved gas mileage when on a long trip. Feel free to PM me if you want more info. P.S. I thought that I could do this for free and got a map sent to me from a guy on another forum board. It was SH*T!!! I went for a short ride and the engine warning light went off and "too lean" fuel mix set off a trouble code. After that scare, I thought paying for a map from a reputable source was smart. My $.02 |

Terrys...have you been to the MN storm fronts page yet? We sometimes get together and ride, and here is where we post. Check in on the "Head Count" thread!!! http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 6310.html?1224344151 |

Wow didn't know about the MN storm fronts page Great to see I'm not alone!! As far as the ECMSPY stuff goes. Going to be getting my engine rebuilt and was curious if there was anybody in the area who has done this on the dyno. The guy rebuilding my motor is really sharp but has never done the ECMSPY stuff on a Buell (he has a dyno) My hope is that myself and maybe a few other in the area can get him up to speed. So stay tuned and when I get a little further alone I post an update on the MN storm page. |

Rochester HD has a Dyno and did a Buell with emcspy. The mechanic there is a young guy who hot rods his 883 Sporty (fast!) and has been bugging me to get mine in there. I will after I am finished tuning with megalogging to see how much HP I have gained. BTW Rochester HD does not sell Buell. |
