06 xb12s when turning right there is a grinding sound followed by a clunk bike gets wiggly. Now the front engine mount needs to be replaced but i don't think this would cause the sound it is making in the rear? Anyone have this problem or a similar one, what was it wheel bearing??? Any help would be great thanks all |

the front engine mount could definitely cause the bike to be wiggly. As far as the noise i would check the wheel bearings and check your swingarm pivot shaft along with anything else in the rear. Fix the motor mount first, then see what changes. |

If the front motor mount needs to be replaced, then it is very possible that the pivot arm bearings, AND the wheel bearings are at a replacement point. Roaring will always be there in a bad wheel baering. I go to an empty road get up to 30 and hit the kill switch, and move my head around to get a better idea of where the noise is coming from. All of course while wearing a non DOT skull cap just to free the ears up. |
