Author Message   Kaese Posted on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 - 05:21 pm:        Took this suspension class (a little knowledge is dangerous), and in order to set the bike up for the proper preload settings for me, I need to know what the shock travel distance is. Maybe I missed it, but couldn't seem to find it in the owners or shop manual. Been using the aggressive setting that somebody linked to here. They are close, but I would like to be a little closer. My Dealer set mine for me when I bought my XB and I checked them when I got home. They were right on. If you are going a little more aggressive, I wouldn't be the one to ask. I ride just to ride.
