What's the difference between the Vesrah sintered rear brake pads and the organic? I mean, is one better for the street than the other? Click for the street products page. |

Dave; Vesrah has a US distributer - Vesrah Racing Very nice and knowledgeable people - I emailed Nancy Junge and got a reply within a few days. I use their sintered pads on the SV (mostly track) and really like them. Can't seem to find them on the web now, but I found them once in Road Racing World. Maybe someone can look up their contact info for you. Henrik |

i used some fancy "race" pucks in a PM caliper on front of hot rod sportster once. very scary on the street, they had almost no braking action when cold, then bit like bad dogs once they warmed up. NOT good for street use at all. i do not reccomend any race type pads for the street. just cruising along, someone gets in front of you and you have almost no initial brake very scary. then later, when they are all warmed up, you have a 2 finger brake lever. |

Whew... Thanks for that post Fullpower. I didn't know what sinterd pads were for and I would have been S.O.L. I'm ordering the regular street pads. Gotta love the Badweb search! |
