Old Man Look at what is uncomfortable. Muscle only work by contraction (bungie cords). There are no springs, only the opposite muscle. Most people hurt after several finger raises, it's not a muscle group that is well used (as guitar and piano). Grip muscles are usually strong. The combination of palm down grip is the confusing one because it brings in the wrist support group. It becomes tennis elbow. (For those on company physio for sore elbow, did they measure the palm down grip? They measure the thumb up grip and the palm up grip and say you're okay.) So what's not taken into account is the number of times you have to raise your hand to get the clutch grip. That's a major issue. I ride mx style with my fingers draped over the levers most of the time. So set up your clutch lever to be where your relaxed hand can get it easily. Remember to take it from your most common riding position. The finger cramp thing will be helped by the set up. The main thing that helps the finger cramp is to practice relaxing them and giving them a shake/wiggle. Figure out if you really need to be holding the clutch right now. The opposite light is still green, go to neutral and relax. There is a youtube video of one of the Buell Daytona racers and he mentions that part of the practice is finding where he can relax his hand and wiggle his fingers. Hope something in all that helps you. |

Pazzo levers are pure art. I bought my second set without regrets. I like the way they look. The performance is great, but really so are stockers. |

I have the lever positioned as you say. It is level with my hand without any wrist bend. The funny thing is the fingers cramp straight and will not bend. I have to stop and bend them with the other hand until the cramp lets up. |

Old man That'd be the muscle group we're talking about. Try the dumbbell thing. Try a more relaxed grip and try to work wiggling your fingers into your ride (Lee Van Cleef at the red lights). |

Sorry about bringing an old thread back from the dead but I have a question... The CRG shorty levers and the Pazzo shorty levers are more or less about the same price. With the Pazzo's being slightly cheaper. Would there be a reason to pick one over the other? |

For people with smaller hands their almost necessary. CRG Shortys work well. |

For people with smaller hands they work well and don't cramp your hand/wrist as easy. They were a Godsend to me cuz the OEM levers are meant for people with "normal" sized hands haha. At 5'3'' my hands are a bit small and the CRGs allow much more riding time more comfortably. (Message edited by b00stzx3 on September 28, 2009) |

From pazzo site: Where are the levers made? We are a Canadian owned and operated company, we manufacture everything in house. From CRG site: We make all of our own parts in house. (they are based in the 831 area code- somewhere near Monterey, CA) "IMO the Pazzo look better." They are near identical.

Wow....looks like a patent may have been prudent. Eh? |
