Hey all, first post. I have a 2008 xb12scg and im looking for a new slip on exhaust. I think i have settled on jardine. Now i don't know if i should get the alum. version or spend the extra and get the titanium? Also wheres the best site to order them from? i have searched and most sites have the fitment listed up to 07. Since i cant find a good site where it says it will fit i don't know know the price of the exhaust. thanks for any help |

The fitment is going to be the same. But why, may I ask, are you interested in a jardine? I think the majority on here will recommend a drummer or a special ops. I run a special ops, and the torque and power difference down low is amazing, not to mention I think I am somewhat deaf now from the awesome sound. I know that this is not answering your question, but since this is your first post, I just wanted to make sure you are aware of the other options. |

Jp, Welcome out of the closet. Jardine was nice on my Honda. I wouldn't use it on the Buell. Take a good look at the Drummer. |

I love my Drummer great company to deal with and the power/sound is awesome. I think American sport bike sells jardines. I dealt with Al and Joanne? the other day and have nothing but good to say about them. They have a great exhaust shootout with sound clips and dyno numbers. I bet he could tell you whats the best Jardine. |

Wow fast replys. Honestly i settled on jardine because i was sick of searching for exhausts. Jardine was really the only one for a decent price that had some good reveiws. i emailed special ops with no reply. i dont really want to send my stock exhaust away either incase it needed to be re installed. thanks |

If you have the money go on American Sport Bike, pay the $250 deposit, have Kevin at Drummer send you a pipe and refund the deposit after you send your stock back in. The drummer looks sexy, is still stock looking and has the best look IMO (smaller pipes like the jardine just look strange IMHO, especially without the chin cowl). The sound is amazing, very quiet idle, like a harley at 3,000rpm and like a beast when you get on it. Power's good and you dont need a tune like you possibly might with a jardine. Either way though, a slip on is a slip on. Go with what you want! |

I like my SpecialOPS, board-member Odie makes em, good guy and product. I like the stock stamp being on mine still, no issues going to states that are tetchy about non OEM pipes (like "seize your bike" tetchy). Drummer is a nice pipe too, not a bad choice either. -d |

I have both a drummer and a Jardine and like both pipes, you will come out cheaper in the end with the drummer eventually because you will need to repack the Jardine over time. My Jardine has over 8000 on it right now and the packing is holding up strong in it. Both pipes sound amazing but in my opinion the Drummer has a deeper more mellow tone to it but man when you get on it, that thing lets loose. Jimmy |

I am about to "place" my order for Special Ops. After riding with Jeffro last week I am envious I couldn't even hear my bike idling next to his. |

Thanks for the options. I do like the drummer but like i said i don't know if i want my stock muffler to be gone. I don't know if there is a reasonable price somewhere on buying a drummer outright? |

just watch on ebay or the clas. section here on the badweb site. You can buy a stock exhaust later. There's going to be one for sale sooner or later, I see them on ebay all the time. |

If you have the resources don't be afraid to make your own. Get creative and be different, afterall isn't that what owning a Buell is all about? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/456741.html?1241828775 |

mluds, What I am doing, is ordering a used stock exhaust then sending my other off, so I don't lose any riding time. Stock exhausts are pretty cheap. |
