temperature was up to 40 on sunday, poured a line of sand up the driveway, got the 12 out on the road, and DAMN THAT DRUMMER SOUNDS GOOD. put on 70 miles, stock ecm and air filter, ran perfect, no snorts or pops, no backfires or coughs. just running real good. i will install race ecm in the HD store parking lot, then when they do the free recall "work" ( the horn wire issue, which i have already fixed) i will have them diddle my tps value.but it will be a couple more months till that part of the state has ice free roads. so kevin and brian the drummer boys: you guys rock. thanks for the can. dean said that. |

Fullpower if you run it with the Race ECM without doing the TPS reset you'll probably find out that it runs real rich and foul out the front cylinder. My 12 did but soon as the reset was done it really rocked. |

yeah i was worried about that, so leaving the stock ecm in for now. its running real nice. light /medium grey color in exhaust pipe. i guess thats cool. i dont plan on pulling a spark plug as long as it runs so good. another six weeks or so the road will be all clear up to soldotna HD store, will make the swap there. now trying to decide between corbin gunfighter, or buell streetfighter saddle. hmmmm. |

I will be putting heated grips on the XB this weekend. have been doing beta testing on the honda XR 250 for several months. no problems. not sure where to put the switch on the XB, but will update after installation. wimped out this morning, it was 17 degrees, left bike home. now im at work. its rapidly warming, probably be 38 degrees this PM. wish i had the bike in town. so s1 if there are 6 xb12 drummers, then we are 16%-ers. |

Drummers on 12's maybe Bads1, Fullpower, Bluefirebolt, Spike, Gearhead and Opto. Nothing's sacred around here! BTW Gearhead's been quiet lately. Where are you Gearhead? |

brings up a good question.. how do you recalibrate the tps????? would it be possible to do a hard recal like on a car.. i.e. disconnect the battery (with the ign on, garuntees the system is at full discharge, learned that the hard way on my vette while putting some neons in it(not enough interior light in the old thing)) wait about 5 minutes, make sure everything is off, turn it back on and let it run a few minutes... or do you have to grab allen wrenches and a paint pen(allen wrenches or whatever hols the thing tight in place, and paint pen to mark it from the factory...)? wally |

sandbag the only way to reset tps zero is at your friendly local dealer. they hook up a laptop with proprietary software, and give the ecm an electronic enema. i am searching far and wide for a home-owner version of this device. later, dean |
