hey all, im tryin like crazy to get my new jardine slip on installed, ive got the stock muffler off, front bracket/strap off, rear straps are on the floor. now im tryin to get the rear bracket off and those 2 bolts are not freakin moving. is there a trick to getting them out? paleeeeez sombody throw me a bone here lol. thanks, Glen |

WD-40 or PB Blaster will loosin it up for ya.... |

ok i went out again and spit and snarled at em for a while, it must have worked becaus they practically fell right out, wheeew. i think i might have somthing on wrong becaus the new can isnt centered at all its really running down the right side just inside of the belt pully. hmm thanks a million fellas you guys are the bomb Glen |

For future reference, be wary of any time where a steel fitting (those bolts in this case) touches aluminum (the muffler bracket). It corrodes in no time, makes them hard to get out, and can easily cause the aluminum to weaken and break when you go to take the bolt out... learned that the hard way. |

thanks for all the help fellas, the pipes on and wow does it sound good!!! if they sold these bikes with them sounding like this, they'd prolly double their sales... 1 problem, im not a "people person", and now everytime i stop somwere people keep coming to look at my bike. |

If you are going to stay with the Buell here are some pointers. You don't have to answer all the questions. Smiling keeps them from knowing they are going to get throttled till it's too late. I get more smiles from the girls in the gas station with the Buell mesh jacket than the Alpine Stars drystar. A hooker in Vegas told me talkin' don't cost nuthin'. It may sound like rambling but there's a message there. |
