Anyone know if these are interchangeable? Found one on Ebay but cant find any info if its the same part basically, the fork ODs are the same at the clamping area right? Am I missing something or just assuming here? Didnt all XBS's have the same forks after 2005? | ||

I couldn’t say for certain but looking at my parts catalogue and being a former mechanic(auto) it would cost the factory less if the parts were interchangeable. I am planning to buy the Uly front dash assembly and top triple clamp and make my R into a more comfortable commuter. I’ll be interested to know what others say on this subject. | ||

I will go mic my forks at the top clamp tomorow, 07 City X and 09 Uly. I know that the tops are the same on the old 41mm slider forks used in 03 and 04 as the 43mm sliders used in 05 to present bolts and lightnings. I know the sliders on a Uly are 47mm but am not sure if the top trees are the same or if all year Uly's are the same at 47mm. | ||

08+ XB12X is 47mm, other years and XB12XT are 43mm. | ||

so, my 05 xb9sx has 43mm, and so does the 06 uly. right? I think it is correct but any more info would be great. My next question would be if the clamp pattern is the same on the top, for the handlebar top clamp, for instance will the xb9sx clamp fit the uly one. Im about to just give up and just order a new one from a dealership.I think they are about 140 bucks. Anyone know the part number for an XB9SX 2005 top triple?
