So I managed to get a set of the Buell Firebolt Saddlebags. They didn't come with any instructions on how the mounting hardware should go though. Any one happen to have a set of instructions, or is it pretty easy to figure out once I get started on it? |

Can't answer for ya, but post some pics when you're done, I want to see how they look. Thinking about picking up a set. |

I have them. They were pretty easy to figure out. Bolt the bracket to the bottom of your tail. Remove the rear seat. Slide the two bags on, then strap them across to each other. Then replace the rear seat. It might take a bit of coaxing to get the seat back on, but it will. Oh and if you put some clear masking tape along the sides of the tail, the bags won't rub and scratch your plastics. Hope this helps. |

Cool, thanks for the tips Evan. As for the guys wanting a set too, better grab any you find now. My dealer pulled the part number up as obsolete, and were unable to order them for me. I had to buy them off of ebay. |

I see the 1125R/CR bags listed on Buell's website as fitting the Firebolt. Looks a bit bigger than the stock Firebolt bag too. |

Yea, those are larger. I went with the smaller ones cause I like the look better, and they were about $70 cheaper. |

Where did you buy the bags from? I need some myself for a ride to Glacier Park I am doing in a few months. |
