Here are some pics of my 2004 XB12R. This is what I've done to the bike. It has a race kit(PCM,Filter,Muffler), Zero Gravity windshield, machined pulley, Ceramic coated header(to match Race Muffler), Precision Eng foot pedals and shifter linkage, buell upgraded seats, frame pucks, lowered rider pegs, I powder coated the primary and cam covers and polished inserts, the upper clamp decal and timer cover are off a 2007 XB12R, the tank decal and lower chin plastic is off of a XB9. The wheels and tires are less than a year old, I sold my old wheels and tires to a member here(please identify yourself), the tires are Michelin Pilot Road 2's(I have a road hazard warranty on them from Cycle Gear), New brake pads front and rear. This bike has 6375 miles on it. Never down, dropped or damaged by crash. I need to sell it because I'm in a bind. If anybody is interested please pm me I will give you my cell number. Also if you want bring a new set of frame pucks and I will gladly remove these for frame inspection, nothing to hide. I am a certified harley tech, this bike got way more oil changes than it ever needed. Extras, shop & owners manual, gear lock, ECM Spy Cable, stock take off parts. Please make offers, no reasonable offer will be denied(I'm in trouble). Clean title bike is paid in full. The hard stuff is done (powder coat covers and coat header). Location Southern Cali. Thanks |

Wow. That is one clean XB12R. I already have one, but I am jealous of whomever gets this bike because it is clean and is done just right with all the right parts! Good luck and I'm sorry you have to sell it. |

Thanks again. I forgot to mention I put on the updated black hand levers, buell traction grips, and some bar ends. If I could still keep this bike I was going to put the gsg-moto sliders on it. These bikes are sure addicting riding them through the canyons. I'll miss it as well as the other toys I have to get rid of to keep afloat. |

Is your front tire mounted sdrawkcab..........,I mean backwards? Your rear looks like it's mounted the right way. |

Sorry about your troubles. It's a good looking bike and I hope you get top dollar for it. BTW, how did you like the windshield? Did it do what it's supposed to do? |

Front tire is mounted correctly. On the Pilot Road 2's it looks backwards, there is a directional arrow on the tires just like there is on car high performance tire. The windshield was put on for looks, I don't think it adds any additional wind protection. I thought about putting the tire backwards so it looks like it's going forward, but I didn't. |

Yeah, I realized I probably asked a dumb question this morning when a guy who is building a chopper at work, actually building it AT work in the machinery repair shop, had his mounted the same way. I looked at it and sure enough it had the arrows. I am more used to directional car tires being the other way for water dispersment. BTW, you have a sweet looking scoot there. |
