Odie is one hell of a busy guy! If I recall correctly he's being forced into overtime with the helicopter stuff (union job) Plus owning and running TWO businesses.... He is a very busy man! He also just got over being pretty sick a couple weeks ago, so not sure if he back up to full speed with his backlog yet or not. Just give em some time. It IS worth it! | ||

Be Patient... I sent my pipe to Odie in Feb, he said 2 weeks, but it took about 6 weeks & It was hard to get in touch with him. But the pipe came in & Its amazing, looks like brand new & sounds just sick. He seems to have a lot going on right now.  | ||

Guys- I am very much alive but extremely busy as a few have stated. I appreciate everyone's patience. I'm operating on 4 hours of sleep right now trying to keep everyone happy. I am working on everyone's stuff as fast as I can. Once I get behind it is very hard to get caught up. I have not had a day off in over 3 weeks due to overtime. I am only human and I work as long and hard as I can until I can't stay awake anymore. Then I get up and start all over again. Not looking for sympathy- just trying to give you a glimpse of the time constraints I have to operate under right now. I will GLADLY send anyone's cash back to them if you can't wait. Numerous people think that I have a sizable business with several employees. On the contrary, I'm just one guy doing pipe mods in his small shop behind his house. All the mod's, finish work, painting, and packaging are done by me. I try to keep turn around time to a minimum but sometimes life gets in the way- kids, work, and of course, the infamous "Honey Do" list. | ||

firebolteric_ma: do you have an order with Odie? His website seems to be upfront that he's a one man operation. It's been clear through the forums that he's a one man operation and that his work takes time. People have waited their turn and spoke well of him and his product. Seems to me that most customers know, and accept, what they're getting into. Seems to me that the several people that build quality pipes for Buells are pretty well offering the same service and part of that is the customer being willing to work with the builders own needs. Don't think of it as forgiving, think of it as part of the deal. You can always vote with your feet on this. | ||
