Between the stock Ss seat and the corbin gunfighter seat which would you prefer. At 6'1 i really dont know how much a couple of inches off will effect my legs on long rides. For some reason i cant find very many seating options for the 08's. I definitely know i need something different because the stock seat kill my butt. |

After doing a little searching in the archives i saw something about the Buell Select fitting on the 08's. Does anybody know if this is true. |

I like my stock seat... Much more comfortable then my last two bikes... Im assuming the 08 is the same as the 09... Its very soft but supports me alright for the rides I have been doing, still havent done a super long tour but with a quick break every gas tank fill up (140 miles) I feel like I could ride from sunrise to sunset. |

FWIW, the select seat on the firebolt is far better than the stock. Select for the lightning has that weird Toblerone design, don't know if I'd like that. |

I liked the Sport saddle when I had my Ss. It was a little taller than stock, so my legs weren't quite as "kinked" up. I'm sure if you do a BadWeb search you'll be able to find my review of the saddle. |

+1 on the sport seat, love it. I can move my azz around a lot easier on it compared to the stocker. But, it is much firmer than the stock seat, so your azz will get sore sooner. |

I feel your pain, used to anyway. I took mine to a local shop to have it reworked. They reshaped it to fit me better. I got to sit on the seat on the bike to confirm the new shaping. Then they cut an area out to make room for a Pro Pad. It's not a Barcalounger, but it's much better than the stock seat. I frequently do 6+ hours in the saddle in a day with little problem now.
Stock seat with Pro Pad installed. They had me back on the road again in about 3 hours for about $80. Good job Alligator Bob! |

I've got a Corbin on my Ss and it's a great seat. The company is a #@!#$ to deal with, so you've got to be patient to get the seat. |

I have a Select seat and a Corbin. Of all the seats the Corbin is the best for me. I am 6' 1" with a 36" inseam. |
