I am thinking about getting a steering damper for my '03 Firebolt. Any ideas on where to look?

If you want one that tucks away neatly under the fairing take a look at www.racingmotorcycles.com or woodcraft. It says for race use only, but we have a similar one (using a Hyperpro damper) mounted on our bike that still has all the wiring in place and it works really well. You can also adjust it on the move as well, which is nice

That dampner looks exactly like a Storz.

I'm just looking at the clamp that goes around the dampner its self and the adjuster knob.Same exact mounts in appearance and color as my old Storz. One thing you must do is even if the dampners shaft gets dusty you need to wipe it off quite a bit because they tend to drag dirt in and then the seals begin to leak.

I love my woodcraft (one that tucks under). It works great, is very adjustable (19 position i think) by turning the little bronze knob. The cool thing i like about it is i can adjust easily while riding. Only thing is i had to grind my bike a little (can't see it) where the u shaped clamp goes. It clamps on where the nose bolts to front of frame and i had to grind just a little so the clamp would slide over the nose piece . very minor deal. very pleased. i ride with it on a fairly tight setting cuase i tend to mess arond a lot. i actually started out on the stiffest setting by accident and almost fell over cassue you can't hardly move bars when on stiffest on lightest setting can't even tell it's there.

sorry for long post. got a little cited bout me dampa
