I really wanted to get a black lightning, but wasnt going to pass up a good deal for color. I have an 03 with yellow plastics in great shape with custom black/yellow wheels. I am looking for either a black/gold or black/red swap. I am located in northern MA. If anyone is interested let me know. I dont have stands, so getting the wheels off may be a challenge. | ||

i'd go for plastic.mine is a nice candy apple red.i'd like black or yellow plastic. my wheels are black,and i want to keep that. i want too swap airbox,front fender,flyscreen and chin thingie down low.with the silver piece attached(it is riveted on). let me know scott | ||

Pogue I really want to everything in one sway that way my bike matches. I am willing to do red/gold or blue/gold as well. I really just hate yellow. The only thing I wouldn't consider is translucid. | ||

Pogue, how did you come by those black for tubes for an '03? A set of those would look good in my black triple clamps. Dongalonga, are your wheels painted or powder coated? im not really interested in yellow plastics but I do like the wheels for my black/yellow scheme. | ||

I believe they are painted, but they did an awesome job. I bought the bike that way at a dealer, so I know very little about the bike. What color are you wheels. | ||

mine are black powder coated. there are some small chips on the beads from changing the tire the next time i clean the bike up im gonna touch 'em up with some black paint. the rear is has a new dunlop qualifier and the front will too next week. how are you tires? | ||
