if you like to run flat out, the aftermarket of other mods may do it for you.. if you like smooth driveability, then leave it alone.. ive had it both ways.. |

Just on the topic of Exhaust upgrades... I have a new 2009 XB12R, and have bought a full Micron system for it. I have been told to get the bike dyno'd and the ECM remapped with the new exhaust to prevent it running lean... Problem I am running into is finding a way to re-map the 2009 ECM's. Some people have also told me not to bother re-mapping, that the bike should be fine and will "learn" the right mixtures for the new exhaust... Any advice? Cheers |

What if you could have it both ways? Loud when you want, and the quiet engineered power of the active exhaust valve? I have an idea. Look at chamber A.
If you put an outlet on the right rear corner of chamber A, would you get a louder system? What if you could open and close that outlet at will? Electrical or get off the bike and undo 3 wingnuts?
You only need a short piece of this welded on for the three bolt flange.
