Anyone know the approximate cost of replacing an XB12 clutch at a dealership? |

Why not just call a dealer? |

I took it to the dealer but he wouldn't say, without diagnosing the problem, first, which they can't do until the end of next week. |

Figure parts+couple hours labor, shouldnt be too labor intensive. |

I'm guessing $390 parts & labor. Heck call it an even 4 bills. From American Sport Bike 9307 - XB Series Clutch Plate kit Price: $139.95 17300 - 06+ XB12 Clutch Spring Price: $25.70 17128 - Gasket, Primary Cover, XB Series Price: $18.55 add $10 for oil. add 17096 XB9S/XB12S Lightning Clutch Cable - Add $35.80 |

its really easy to do the work.. I was able to borrow a clutch compression tool from a local business, but all the harley shops wouldnt hand one out so it took some time for me to negotiate the business to lend it to me. it took 1.5hours to swap out the parts and have the bike back running |

I've got a clutch for 150.00 complete with only 7K miles on it. Should just slip right in. No need to disassemble your clutch. Just take the cover off and unbolt the old and slide in the new one. Shipping shouldn't be more than 25-30 bucks. (Message edited by buellsrule on April 08, 2009) |

Anybody out there have a clutch cable assembly for a 2003 lightning? My cable is leaking out of the crimped cap that is down where it goes into the primary. |
