Author Message   Jonnyrotton Posted on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 - 04:36 am:        I trying to figure out whether my cooling fan is bad, or if it is the the switch(if there is one) that regulates the cooling fan. The ECM "cuts on" the fan when the rear head temperature reaches 428F. and shuts off when it cools to about 360F. Ambient conditions below 85F., in my experience, do not seem to affect when/if the fan runs.   Poppinsexz Posted on Thursday, April 09, 2009 - 11:09 am:        It should come on when you shut off the engine.
